Description

The SIM tray is the small part that holds the SIM card and slides into the side of the iPhone. Once the card is removed, it lets you put it back in place and ensures the connection between the card and the phone. When it is bent, broken, stuck or poorly fitted, the phone no longer detects the card, shows a "No SIM" message or struggles to pick up the network. This compatible tray fits the iPhone 14 models with references A2882, A2649, A2881, A2883 and A2884.

Before you start, switch off the device and use the eject tool to remove the current part. Compare it with the new tray to check the shape, the notches and the colour before fitting. Work on a clean surface and avoid static electricity by touching a metal surface before handling the components.

Once the tray is installed, put the SIM card back, switch the phone on and check that the card is detected and that the network reception is working. If the phone still shows "No SIM", stop and check the position of the tray before trying again.

  • Switch off the phone and disconnect it before any handling.
  • Check the reference of your iPhone 14 before ordering.
  • Do not force the tray in: it should slide in without effort.
