Description
The SIM tray is the small metal or plastic part that holds the SIM card and keeps it in place inside the phone. This compatible iPhone 14 Plus part, referenced for models A2886 and A2632, lets you replace a tray that is damaged, bent or broken, especially when the SIM card no longer sits properly in place or the tray no longer fits into its slot.
A compatible part is made by a third party and not by the manufacturer. Before fitting, switch off the phone, check that your device reference matches A2886 or A2632, and prepare a clean, clear work area. Use a suitable ejection tool and handle the components carefully to avoid electrostatic discharge.
After replacement, insert the SIM card, power the phone back on and check that the network is detected. Also make sure the tray closes without forcing it. Do not puncture or bend any lithium battery, and never use a device whose battery is swollen.
