Description
The SIM tray is the small metal part that holds the SIM card and allows it to be inserted into the phone. On the iPhone 14 Pro, it is removed from the side with the ejection tool supplied with the device or a simple pin. It is recommended to replace this tray when it is bent, cracked, stuck, or no longer recognises the SIM card correctly. This part is compatible with references A2890 and A2650 of the model.
Before any work, switch the phone off completely and remove the SIM card and its current tray to avoid damaging it. Work on a flat, clean surface, with a small mat so that screws and small parts are not lost. Handle the tray carefully, without forcing it, and check that it clicks properly into its housing before switching the phone back on.
After fitting, check that the tray slides without friction and that the SIM card is detected by the device. If this is not the case, remove the tray again and check its alignment. Never force the insertion and always keep the SIM card in its holder.
