Description
The SIM tray is the small metal or plastic part that holds the SIM card and slides it into the phone. When it is broken, bent or damaged, the card no longer stays in place, the network connection can become unstable and the ejector no longer works properly. This SIM tray compatible with iPhone 16e lets you replace a damaged part without changing the whole device.
Before you start, switch off the phone completely and insert the ejection tool into the side hole carefully, without forcing it. Work on a clean, flat surface and avoid contact with materials that can generate static electricity. Compare the new tray with the old one to check the shape, the notches and the position of the card before fitting it.
Once the tray is in place, check that it slides in without play and that the SIM card is held firmly. Switch the phone back on and check that the card is detected and that the network is received. If the device heats up abnormally or something seems stuck, stop the operation and do not force it.
