Description
The SIM tray is the small metal part that holds the SIM card and slides it into the phone. When it is broken, bent or no longer sits correctly in place, the SIM card may no longer be recognised or the tray may get stuck. This compatible SIM tray for iPhone 18 Pro Max lets you replace the current part and restore a working SIM slot.
Before you start, switch off the device and remove the SIM card. Work on a clean, flat surface with a suitable small ejection tool. Avoid sudden movements and protect yourself from static electricity by regularly touching an earthed metal surface. If you need to work inside the phone, disconnect the battery before handling any ribbon cables and never puncture or bend the lithium battery.
After fitting, check that the tray slides in without forcing and locks properly into its slot. Insert the SIM card, switch the device back on and check that the network is detected. If the battery was disconnected, let it charge normally through several full cycles so that it returns to stable behaviour.
