Description
The SIM tray is the small part that holds the SIM card and, depending on the model, the memory card. It slides into the side slot of the phone and must fit without play. On the K30 (2019), a worn, broken or misaligned tray can stop the card from being recognised, cause loss of network or make insertion difficult.
This part is a compatible version, made by a third party. It replaces the current part without changing the rest of the device. Before you start, switch off the phone, remove the case and use the ejection tool to take out the old tray. Avoid forcing it and keep the phone away from any heat source.
After fitting, check that the tray clicks in straight and without effort, then test SIM card detection and the network. If the tray does not close properly, stop and readjust it before switching the device back on.
