Description
The SIM tray is the small part that holds the SIM card and, on some models, the microSD card. It slides into its side slot on the phone. When it is broken, bent, jammed or no longer opens properly, the card is no longer detected or the tray gets stuck. This part, compatible with the OnePlus 7T, lets you replace the damaged tray without touching the rest of the device.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and remove the case. Use the ejection tool supplied with your kit or an unfolded paperclip, and press gently into the hole to release the old tray. Avoid excessive force, as the chassis can scratch or crack. Work in a clean, dry place, and discharge static electricity by touching a metal object before handling the components.
After fitting, insert a SIM card and check that it is recognised, then make sure the tray closes straight and without play. If no network appears, restart the device. For any more delicate operation, take the time to follow each step carefully.
