Description
The SIM tray is the small part that holds the SIM card and lets you insert it into the phone. Over time it can break, warp or stop opening properly, which makes the card hard to remove or reinsert. This compatible part is designed to replace the Pixel 6a tray when it is damaged.
Before you start, switch the phone off and prepare a SIM ejector tool, a small screwdriver and a clean holder for the screws. To avoid scratching the chassis, work on a flat surface and avoid excessive heat. Also discharge static electricity by touching a metal surface before handling the components.
Once the fitting is complete, check that the tray slides without forcing and that the SIM card is detected. Keep the current part aside until the checks are finished, in case an adjustment is needed.
