Description
The SIM tray is the small part that holds the SIM card and, sometimes, the microSD card in your phone. Over time, it can bend, crack or lose its fit, which stops the card from connecting properly or makes the tray hard to open. This compatible tray for Stylo 4 lets you replace the current part without touching the rest of the phone.
Before you start, switch the device off and unplug it from any charging source. Use a SIM pin to open the slot, then gently pull out the tray. To avoid electrostatic discharge, touch an earthed metal surface before handling the components. Insert the new tray, check that it clicks into place in its housing, then put the SIM card back in.
After fitting, turn the phone on and check that the card is recognised and that the tray closes without forcing. If the tray does not lock properly, do not force it: check its alignment before trying again.
