Description
The SIM tray is the small part that holds the SIM card and, sometimes, the microSD card of your phone. This tray, compatible with the Stylo 4 Plus, replaces the current part when it is broken, bent or no longer holds the card properly. A card that is not detected, a tray that no longer fits its slot or an unstable contact are the most common faults this replacement can fix.
Before you start, switch the device off completely and remove the case. Use a suitable ejection tool to open the current tray, without forcing it. Take the time to compare the new part with the old one before fitting it, so that the dimensions and notches match. Work on a clean surface and protect yourself from static electricity by avoiding synthetic mats.
Once the tray is refitted, insert the SIM card, switch the phone back on and check that the network is detected correctly. Also make sure the tray closes without play or resistance. If in doubt, do not force it and start the fitting again from the beginning.
