Description
The SIM tray is the small part that holds the SIM card and, depending on the model, the memory card. On the Stylo 6, it slides into the side of the device and lets you insert or remove your cards without opening the phone. When it is broken, bent or no longer sits properly in place, the card may not connect well or the tray may get stuck.
This compatible part replaces the damaged tray. It is made by a third-party manufacturer, which makes it an affordable option for a simple repair. Before you start, switch off the phone, remove any SIM card and keep it aside. Use a suitable ejector tool and work on a clean, well-lit surface, avoiding excessive pressure on the screen.
Once the new tray is fitted, check that it slides in without forcing and sits flush with the chassis. Then put the SIM card back, switch the device on and check that the network is detected. If the device overheats or you notice a problem, stop the procedure immediately.
