Description
The SIM tray is the small part that holds the SIM card and keeps it in place inside the phone. When it is broken, bent or worn, the card may not connect properly, slip out of its slot or prevent the tray from opening. This compatible tray replaces the current part to give your SIM card a clean and stable slot.
Before you start, switch off the phone and remove the case. Use tweezers or a suitable ejector tool to take out the old tray without forcing the neighbouring connectors. Work on a flat, clean surface and limit static electricity by avoiding handling components on carpet or synthetic fabric.
After fitting, check that the tray slots in without play and that the SIM card is detected. Test opening and closing the tray several times, then check the network and calls. If something does not work, stop and recheck the alignment before applying more pressure.
