Description
The SIM tray is the small tray that holds the SIM card and slides into the slot provided on the side of the V30 phone. This part is used to replace a tray that is broken, bent, worn or no longer slides out properly. It helps fix faults caused by a damaged tray, such as a SIM card that does not stay in place or is no longer detected by the device.
Before any work, switch the phone off completely and use the ejection tool to remove the old tray. Do not force it and avoid any strong heat source. Limit static electricity by handling the components carefully. If you need to access a ribbon cable, disconnect the battery first. Never use a device whose battery is swollen, and do not puncture or bend the battery.
After fitting, check that the tray slides in without force and that the SIM card is held firmly. Restart the phone and check that the network is detected correctly before closing the device.
