Description
The SIM tray is the small part that holds the SIM card and, sometimes, the microSD card. It slides into the side of the device and lets you change cards without opening the phone. When it is broken, bent or no longer comes out properly, the card may not be detected, the network may disappear or the tray may stay stuck in the slot.
This compatible part, made by a third-party manufacturer, replaces the faulty SIM tray of the Velvet. It aims to restore normal operation of the card slot, with simple fitting once the old part has been removed.
Before you start, switch off the phone and use a suitable ejection tool to remove the old tray. Work on a flat, clean surface and avoid excessive heat. After fitting, check that the tray slides in without force, that the SIM card is properly recognised and that the seal is correctly closed.
