Description
The SIM tray is the small part that holds the SIM card and, in some cases, the microSD card of your X Power 2. It slides into its side slot and makes contact with the phone's internal connectors. When it is damaged, bent or broken, the phone may no longer detect the SIM card, show an error message or refuse to connect to the mobile network.
This compatible tray is made by a third party to replace the current part. It is a low-cost alternative to get your device working again without changing phone. Before fitting, switch off the smartphone, remove the case if necessary and use the SIM ejector tool to take out the old tray. Avoid pressing hard and work on a flat surface, away from static electricity.
Once the new tray is installed, check that it clicks into place without forcing and sits straight. Then insert your SIM card, restart the device and check that the card is detected and that the network connection works. If the tray does not slide properly, take it out and try again without forcing it.

- Never force the tray: it must slide smoothly
