Description
The SIM tray is the part that holds the SIM card and, sometimes, the microSD card of your phone. When it is broken, bent or no longer clicks into place properly, the card may not connect correctly or may no longer be detected. This tray, compatible with the Y17s, replaces the current part and restores normal operation when inserting your cards.
This part is made by a third-party manufacturer and is offered as a compatible solution, not as an original part. It is an economical choice for repairing your device yourself. Before you start, switch off the phone, remove the case and use the ejection tool to take out the current part. Work on a flat surface, away from static electricity, and do not force the connectors.
After fitting, check that the tray slides without friction and closes flush with the chassis. Insert a SIM card, switch the device back on and check that the network is detected. If the card is still not recognised, take the tray out again, check its alignment and try once more.
