Description
The SIM tray is the small part that holds the SIM card and, depending on the model, the memory card. It slides into its side slot on the phone. This compatible version is designed to replace the Y6 (2019) tray when it is broken, bent, stuck or no longer closes properly.
The most common faults are a tray that no longer comes out, a cracked or deformed tray, a SIM card that does not stay in place, or a card detector that is no longer recognised. Replacement restores a stable hold and reliable contact with the card.
Before you start, switch off the phone and remove the case. Use a suitable eject tool to open the slot and take out the old tray without forcing it. Check that the new tray is properly aligned before pushing it in. After fitting, test inserting the SIM card and check the network reception.
