Description
The SIM tray is the small metal or plastic part that holds the SIM card and, sometimes, the microSD card. It slides into the side of the phone and connects it to the mobile network. When it is damaged, bent or broken, the card may not be detected, the tray may get stuck or the phone may not close properly.
This compatible part for Y9S (2019) replaces the current part without changing how your device works. Before you start, switch off the phone, remove the case and use the ejection tool to take out the old tray. Work on a clean surface and avoid static discharge by touching an earthed metal part before handling the components.
After fitting, check that the tray slides in without forcing and that the SIM card is correctly positioned. Switch the phone back on and check that the card is detected. Do not bend the tray and do not force it into place.
