Description
The MOSFET transistor iPhone 13 mini (ref. O53XOi96) is an electronic switching component. It is used to let current pass or cut it off in a circuit, and it plays a part in managing the board's power supply. When it is faulty, a device may no longer switch on, may switch off unexpectedly or may no longer charge properly. This part is a compatible manufacture: it is designed to replace the current part on iPhone 13 mini, but it is not identical to the current part in every respect.
Before any work, cut the power and disconnect the battery. Work on a clean surface, with an antistatic wrist strap if possible, to avoid destroying the component with static electricity. Use a desoldering station or a suitable iron, and moderate heat so as not to damage the neighbouring tracks. Check the orientation of the component before soldering it.
After fitting, check the continuity of the tracks and the absence of short circuits before reconnecting the battery. Power on the device and observe its behaviour over several cycles. If the battery is swollen, do not use it and never puncture or bend it.
