Description
The Pump-it suction cup is a repair tool that is simple to use. It is designed to gently lift off a screen or a glued cover without forcing it or marking the surface of the device. Compatible with all models, it suits the smartphones, tablets and computers you want to open yourself.
Its main function is to create a light suction on a glass panel or a casing, which lifts the part concerned. It thus helps you reach a battery, a connector or a ribbon cable when the part above has to be replaced. It is particularly suited to cracked glass or a loose cover.
Before you start, switch off the device and disconnect its power supply. Gently warm the edge of the screen with a hair dryer on a moderate heat setting to soften the adhesive. After reassembly, check that everything is correctly in place and that the device starts up properly.
