Description
The vibrator is the small motor that makes the phone vibrate during a call, a notification or touch feedback. This compatible part is designed for the G5 model. It replaces the faulty vibrator when the phone no longer vibrates, vibrates weakly or makes an abnormal noise.
Before you start, switch the device off completely and disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables. Work on a clean, flat surface with an antistatic tool to avoid discharging the electronics. Note the position and orientation of the removed vibrator, then fit the compatible part in the same direction.
After fitting, check the operation by testing notifications and calls before closing the casing completely. Never puncture or bend the battery. If it is swollen, stop using it. Keep heat moderate during the repair.
Tips
- Switch off the device and disconnect the battery before any work
- Use an antistatic tool and work on a clean surface
- Note the orientation of the current part before removing it
- Test calls and notifications before closing the casing
