Description
The vibration motor is the small motor that makes the phone vibrate during a call, a notification or tactile feedback. On the LG G7 ThinQ, this component can wear out or disconnect, and the phone stops vibrating, or vibrates only weakly or irregularly. This compatible part replaces the current component to restore tactile feedback.
Before fitting, switch the device off completely and disconnect the battery if your skill level allows. Work on a clean, flat surface, using a blade or plastic tool to separate the parts without forcing them. Protect sensitive components from static electricity, for example by touching an earthed metal surface before handling the parts. Do not bend the ribbon cables and disconnect them carefully.
After fitting, check the operation before fully closing the casing: test calls, notifications and tactile feedback. If the battery was disconnected, reconnect it carefully. For a lithium battery, do not puncture it, do not bend it, and never use a swollen battery.
