Description
The vibration motor is a small motor that makes the phone vibrate during calls, notifications and certain haptic feedback. This part, compatible with the LG G8 ThinQ, lets you replace a faulty component. Typical faults include no vibration, weak vibration, an abnormal noise or a vibration that no longer stops.
Before you start, switch off the device and disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables. Work on a clean surface, protected from static electricity, and use suitable tools. Never pierce or bend the lithium battery: if it is swollen, stop using it. Avoid excessive heat during disassembly.
After reassembly, reconnect the battery, switch the phone back on and test the vibration on a call and a notification. Check that the ribbon cables are properly clipped in and that the part does not rub against any element. If the behaviour remains abnormal, redo the assembly and check each connection before drawing conclusions.
