Description
The vibration motor is a small motor that produces the phone's vibrations during calls, notifications and haptic feedback. It sits in the internal chassis of the LG G8X ThinQ. This compatible part is used to replace a faulty vibration motor, for example when the phone no longer vibrates, vibrates weakly or makes an abnormal noise.
Before you start, switch the device off and disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables. Work on a clean surface and, if possible, on an anti-static mat to limit static electricity. Use suitable tools and never force the connectors.
After fitting, switch the device back on and test the vibrations with a call, an alarm and keyboard feedback. If the battery is swollen, stop using it. Do not puncture it, do not bend it and avoid any excessive heat.

- Work on a clean surface, ideally with an anti-static mat
- Do not force the connectors: they lock with little pressure
- Test the vibrations (call, alarm, keyboard) before closing the phone
