Description
The vibrator is the small motor that makes the phone vibrate during a call, a notification or tactile feedback. This part, compatible with the Samsung Galaxy Note 5, replaces the faulty vibrator. It helps restore normal vibration when it is weak, absent or noisy, without affecting the rest of the device.
The fault is often recognised by a lack of vibration while the ringtone works, or by an abnormal buzzing. Before starting, switch off the phone completely, disconnect the battery and work on a clean surface, avoiding static electricity with an anti-static wrist strap or by regularly touching an earthed metal surface. The ribbon cables are fragile: disconnect them carefully, without forcing, and never bend the battery.
After fitting, check the operation before closing the device completely: test the vibration with a call or a notification. If the battery has been handled, carry out a few full charge cycles to stabilise it. If the battery is swollen, do not use it and do not heat it.
