Description
The vibrator is the small motor that makes the phone vibrate during a call, a notification or tactile feedback. This compatible part is designed for the Samsung Galaxy Note 8. It lets you replace the vibrator when it no longer works or vibrates irregularly, weakly or noisily.
Before you start, switch off the device completely and disconnect the battery if the procedure requires it, to avoid any short circuit. Work on a clean surface, with a suitable tool, and avoid static electricity by regularly touching an earthed metal surface. Note the position and orientation of each connector before removing them, to make reassembly easier.
After fitting, reconnect the battery, switch the device on and test the vibrator with several notifications or in the vibration settings. Also check that the ribbon cable is properly clipped in. If the battery is swollen, stop using it.
