Description
The vibration motor is the small motor that makes the phone vibrate during calls, notifications and certain commands. This compatible vibration motor is designed for the Samsung Galaxy S8 Active. It replaces the current part when it no longer vibrates, vibrates weakly or irregularly, or produces an abnormal noise.
Before you start, switch the device off completely and disconnect the battery if your model allows it. Work on a clean, flat surface with suitable tools, and keep the screws in the order you remove them to make reassembly easier. Avoid forcing the connectors and handle the ribbon cables carefully, as they tear easily. Remember too that the battery is lithium: do not puncture it, do not bend it and do not use it if it is swollen.
Once assembly is complete, reconnect the battery, switch on the phone and test the vibration motor with several notifications and a call. Also check that the screen and buttons respond normally. If the vibration remains weak, check that the component is properly seated and that the ribbon cable connection is secure.
