Description
The vibrator is the small motor that makes the phone vibrate during a call, a notification or tactile feedback. On the iPhone 11 Pro, it is compatible with references A2215, A2160 and A2217. This compatible part, made by a third party, lets you replace the current vibrator when it no longer triggers, vibrates only weakly or makes an abnormal noise.
Before you start, switch off the device and disconnect the battery to avoid any short circuit during disassembly. Work on a clean surface, with an anti-static mat if possible, and use suitable tools so you do not damage the ribbon cables or connectors. Never puncture or bend the lithium battery, and do not use a device whose battery is swollen.
After fitting, check that the vibrator works properly in the device settings before closing the casing. If the phone does not charge correctly, carry out a few full charge cycles to let the battery regain its balance. Keep moderate heat throughout the repair.
