Description
The vibration motor, also called the Taptic Engine, is the component that produces the iPhone's vibrations during calls, notifications and haptic feedback on the screen. This compatible part for iPhone 12 mini (references A2399, A2176, A2398, A2400) replaces the faulty vibration motor in your device.
A worn or faulty vibration motor often shows up as no vibration, weak or irregular vibrations, or an unusual noise during notifications. Replacing this part restores normal haptic feedback. This is a compatible part, made by a third party.
Before you start, switch the device off completely and disconnect the battery before handling the flex cables. Work on a clean surface, with suitable tools and without forcing anything. After fitting, check the vibration on several notifications and test the part over a few cycles of normal use.
Tips
- Switch off the iPhone and disconnect the battery before any work
- Handle the flex cables gently, without folding or forcing them
- Check the vibration on several types of notifications after fitting
- Avoid any excessive heat source during the repair
- Discharge static electricity before touching the components
Fitting
Fitting guide: work with the device switched off, disconnect the battery before touching any flex cable, keep the screws in order and test the part before closing up. A question before ordering? Write to us.
