Description
The vibration motor is the small motor that makes the phone vibrate during a call, a notification or a haptic feedback. This compatible part fits the iPhone 12 Pro Max, references A2411, A2342, A2410 and A2412. It lets you replace a faulty vibration motor, for example if it no longer vibrates at all or produces an abnormal noise.
Before fitting, switch the device off completely and disconnect the battery before touching the flex cables. Work on a clean surface with suitable tools, and avoid static electricity by discharging yourself regularly. Do not bend the cables or force the connectors when removing parts.
Once the part is installed, check its operation before closing the phone completely: test the vibration with a call and a notification. If the battery was disconnected, reconnect it carefully. A swollen battery must never be used.
Tips
- Switch off the device and disconnect the battery before working on it
- Check your model reference (A2411, A2342, A2410, A2412)
- Avoid static electricity and never force the connectors
- Test the vibration before closing the phone
- Never puncture or bend a lithium battery
