Description
The vibration motor is the small motor that produces the iPhone's haptic feedback: call vibrations, notification alerts and feedback when typing. This compatible part is designed for the iPhone 14 Plus, references A2886 and A2632. It replaces the faulty vibration motor when the phone no longer vibrates, vibrates weakly or makes an abnormal noise.
Before you begin, switch the device off completely and disconnect the battery before handling the flex cables. Work on a clean surface, with an antistatic mat if possible, and avoid excessive heat. Never puncture or bend the lithium battery, and do not use the device if the battery is swollen.
After fitting, check the vibration motor's operation in the sound settings, then test notifications and the keyboard's haptic feedback. Reconnect the battery carefully and make sure the connector is properly seated before closing the device.
