Description
The vibrator is the small motor that produces the vibrations of the iPhone 15 during calls, notifications and haptic keyboard feedback. This compatible part is designed for models A3090 and A2846. It is used to replace the current vibrator when it no longer vibrates, vibrates only weakly or produces an abnormal noise.
Typical faults this part can fix include a complete absence of vibration, weak or irregular vibrations, and a constant buzzing. Before you start, switch off the device, work on a clean surface and use an antistatic mat and an anti-static wrist strap if possible. Disconnect the battery before touching any ribbon cables, and never puncture or bend the lithium battery. If the battery is swollen, stop using the device and do not attempt the repair.
After fitting, check the vibrator's operation with several tests (call, notification, keyboard) and make sure no ribbon cable is pinched. If you are replacing the battery at the same time, carry out a few full charge cycles so that the level indicator is properly calibrated.
