Description
The vibration motor is the small motor that produces the iPhone's haptic feedback: the vibrations when typing, for notifications, calls or certain gestures on the screen. This compatible iPhone 15 Plus part (references A3094 and A2847) lets you replace a faulty vibration motor, for example when the device no longer vibrates or the vibration is weak, irregular or noisy.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery before touching any cables, to avoid short circuits and static discharge. Work on a clean surface, with an anti-static mat if possible, and keep the small screws in a precise order. Never puncture, bend or compress the lithium battery. If it is swollen, stop using it and do not attempt to remove it.
After fitting, switch the device back on and check the haptic feedback: keyboard typing, notifications, vibration settings. Make sure the old part has been removed cleanly and that all connectors are properly clipped in before closing the device. Avoid excessive heat during testing.
