Description
The vibration motor is the small motor that produces the phone's vibrations during calls, notifications and the keyboard's haptic feedback. This compatible iPhone 15 Pro part (references A3102 and A2848) replaces the faulty vibration motor in the current part.
A vibration motor fault usually shows up as no vibration, weak vibrations or an unusual noise during notifications. Replacing it is normally enough to restore operation without touching the rest of the board. Before you start, switch off the device, disconnect the battery and work on a clean surface, away from static electricity. Gently warm the screen to loosen the adhesive, keeping the heat moderate, and keep your tools away from the components.
After fitting, check the connection of the ribbon cables, switch the device back on and test the vibration motor with several notifications and a call. If your iPhone 15 Pro has a recent battery, carry out a few full charge cycles to ensure stable operation.
