Description
The vibration motor, also called haptic engine, is the small component that produces the iPhone's vibrations for notifications, calls and certain tactile feedback. This compatible part is designed for the iPhone 15 Pro Max, references A3106 and A2849. It is used to replace a faulty vibration motor, for example when the device no longer vibrates, vibrates weakly or makes an abnormal noise.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery before handling ribbon cables or connectors. Work on a clean, flat surface, with an anti-static mat if possible, to limit the risks linked to static electricity. Use suitable tools and avoid applying force to the small tabs. Moderate heat is enough to loosen the screen if needed. Never puncture or bend the battery, and do not use a device whose battery is swollen.
After fitting, check the vibration motor works properly using the vibration settings, then check the screen is secure and the seal is intact. Charge the device and let it complete a few full charge cycles to confirm everything works normally.
