Description
The vibrator is the small motor that produces the phone's vibrations during a call, a notification or haptic feedback. This compatible part is designed to replace the faulty vibrator of an iPhone 16e. When it no longer works, the phone stops vibrating or vibrates only weakly, and alerts go unnoticed.
Before you start, switch off the device and disconnect the battery before working on the flex cables. Work on a clean surface and use an anti-static wrist strap or regularly touch an earthed metal surface to avoid electrostatic discharge. Never puncture or bend the lithium battery, and do not use a device whose battery is swollen.
After fitting, reconnect the battery, switch on the iPhone and test the vibration with several types of alerts. If necessary, let the device complete a few full charge cycles before heavy use. If the vibration remains absent or irregular, check that the flex cable is properly connected before drawing any conclusion.
