Description
The vibration motor is the small motor that produces the vibrations of the iPhone 17 during calls, notifications and haptic keyboard feedback. This compatible part replaces the faulty vibration motor and restores correct tactile feedback.
A vibration motor fault shows up as no vibration, weak or irregular vibration, or an unusual noise during alerts. Before fitting, switch off the device and disconnect the battery to avoid any short circuit. Work on a clean surface and use an anti-static wrist strap or simple earthing to protect the sensitive components.
After replacement, reconnect the battery, switch the device back on and test the vibration in several modes: call, notification and keyboard. Also check that the connector is properly clicked into place. If the vibration remains abnormal, recheck the connection before drawing any conclusion. Never puncture or bend the lithium battery, and stop using a device whose battery is swollen.
