Description
The vibration motor is the small motor that produces the haptic feedback of your iPhone 17 Pro: vibrations for notifications, the keyboard and touch controls. This compatible part lets you replace a faulty vibration motor when the phone no longer vibrates, vibrates weakly or makes an abnormal noise.
Before you start, switch the device off completely and prepare a clean, well-lit workspace with tools suited to small screws. Disconnect the battery before working on any flex cables, and avoid bending or puncturing the lithium battery. If the battery is swollen, do not continue the repair and stop using it. Work at room temperature, without excessive heat, and protect the components from static electricity.
After fitting, check the function: turn on vibrations and test them on several notifications and on the keyboard. If necessary, let the device run through a few full charging cycles so the settings stabilise.
