Description
The vibration motor, also called the Taptic Engine, is the small motor that produces the iPhone 17 Pro Max's vibrations for notifications, keyboard typing and haptic feedback. When it stops working, the phone stays silent or no longer vibrates at all, which can get in the way of everyday use. This compatible vibration motor lets you replace the faulty part without changing the whole device.
This part is made by a third party and is not an original part. Before fitting, switch off the phone, disconnect the battery to avoid any short circuit, and work on a clean surface while protecting yourself from static electricity. Take care with the ribbon cables, which are fragile, and never force any connector.
After reassembly, check that the vibrations work in the settings and across several notifications. If the battery is swollen, do not use it, and never puncture or bend it.
