Description
The vibrator is a small motor that makes the phone vibrate to signal a call, a message or a notification without sound. On iPhone 4, this compatible part replaces the faulty vibrator. It fixes the most common faults: no vibration at all, weak or noisy vibration, or an alert that no longer triggers.
Before you start, switch off the device and disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables. Work on a clean surface at room temperature and, if possible, use an anti-static wrist strap to avoid discharges. Do not puncture or bend the battery, and never use a swollen battery.
After fitting, check the function by testing vibrate mode, then a call and a notification. If the device overheats abnormally, stop immediately. A compatible part may show slight differences from the original: carefully check the alignment of the connectors before closing the device.
