Description
The vibration motor is the small motor that makes the phone vibrate during a call, a notification or an alarm. This compatible part for iPhone 5C allows you to replace a faulty vibration motor. It is used to fix faults where the phone no longer vibrates, vibrates too weakly or vibrates non-stop.
Before you start, switch off the device and disconnect the battery before touching the flex cables. Work on a clean, clear surface with suitable tools, and avoid static electricity by touching an earthed metal surface. Never force a connector. If the battery is swollen, stop using it and do not puncture or bend it.
After fitting, switch the device back on and check that it works: make a test call, activate vibrate mode and check the notifications. If the device overheats, switch it off immediately and unplug it. Once the check is done, reassemble the phone without forcing the clips.
