Description
The vibration motor is the small motor that makes the phone vibrate during calls, notifications and certain tactile feedback. This compatible iPhone 8 Plus part is used to replace the current vibration motor when it no longer triggers, vibrates weakly or produces abnormal noises.
The fault often shows up as a complete absence of vibration, a continuous buzzing or a vibration that never stops. Before you start, switch the device off, disconnect the battery to avoid any short circuit and work on a clean, clear surface. Precision tweezers and a suitable screwdriver make it easier to remove the parts fixed by screws.
During fitting, check that the connector is properly clipped in and that the part is correctly positioned before closing the device. After the repair, test the vibration on several notifications and check that the screen and the other functions respond normally. Once reassembly is complete, also check the temperature of the device.
