Description
The vibrator is the small motor that makes the phone vibrate during a call, a notification or an alert. This part, compatible with the K7 (2016), lets you replace a faulty vibrator when the device no longer vibrates or produces an abnormal noise.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if the procedure requires it. Work on a clean, flat surface, with suitable tools and without forcing the connectors. To limit the risks linked to static electricity, touch an earthed metal surface before handling the components.
Once the vibrator is fitted, reconnect the device and test the vibration with several alerts and a call. Also check that the phone starts up properly and that the other functions are not affected. Never puncture or bend the lithium battery, and stop using a device whose battery is swollen.
