Description
The vibrator is the small motor that makes the phone vibrate during calls, notifications and certain tactile feedback. On the KEY1, it lets you feel these alerts without having to look at the screen. When it no longer works, the phone stays silent or no longer vibrates at all, even though the ringtone may still work.
This compatible part replaces the faulty vibrator so you can get back the usual vibration feedback. Before you start, switch the phone off completely, remove the case and work on a clean surface, away from static electricity. Disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables, and never force the connectors. Once the fitting is finished, test notifications, an incoming call and vibrate mode to check that everything works correctly.
If the current part shows signs of heat or the battery is swollen, stop using it and do not puncture or bend it. Remember to note the exact position of each screw and each connector during disassembly to make reassembly easier.
