Description
The vibration motor is the small motor that makes the phone vibrate during a call, a notification or tactile feedback. When it stops working, the smartphone stays silent or no longer responds to touch, while the rest of the device works normally. This compatible part is designed to replace the faulty vibration motor of the Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro and restore this function.
Before you begin, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if the model allows it, to avoid any short circuit. Work on a clean, flat surface with suitable tools, and avoid static electricity by touching an earthed metal surface before handling the components. Handle the ribbon cables carefully, without bending them or forcing their connectors.
Once the vibration motor is fitted, check that it works properly before closing the casing completely: test a notification, a call and vibrate mode. If you notice any abnormal behaviour, reopen the device and check the connection. Never puncture or bend the lithium battery, and stop using the phone if it appears swollen.
