Description
The vibrator, also called the vibration motor, is the small component that makes the phone vibrate during a call, a notification or tactile feedback. This part, compatible with the Mi Note 10, replaces a faulty vibrator when the device no longer vibrates or vibrates abnormally, for example with a constant crackling noise.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if your model allows it, to avoid any short circuit. Work on a clean surface, with an antistatic mat or by regularly discharging static electricity. Use suitable tools and never force the connectors or ribbon cables, which tear easily.
Once the vibrator is fitted, check that it works before closing the device completely: test a notification, a call or the keyboard vibration. If the phone does not switch back on or an unusual noise appears, stop immediately and check the connections. A compatible part may show slight differences from the original, so it is useful to check its behaviour before refitting the casing.
