The vibration motor is the small motor that makes the phone vibrate during calls, notifications and certain commands. On the OnePlus 7 Pro, it lets you feel alerts without sound. If the vibration is weak, missing or noisy, this part is often the cause.
This compatible vibration motor is made by a third party and fits the OnePlus 7 Pro model. Before dismantling, switch off the device and disconnect the battery to avoid any short circuit. Work on a clean surface with suitable tools, and take photos of the position of the ribbon cables and screws to make reassembly easier. Avoid static electricity by touching a metal surface before handling the components.
After fitting, check the vibration motor by testing a notification and a call. Make sure the connectors are properly clicked into place and that the device does not overheat abnormally. Never puncture, pierce or bend a lithium battery, and do not use a device whose battery is swollen.
