Description
The vibrator is the small motor that makes the phone vibrate during a call, a notification or a touch feedback. For the OnePlus 9, this compatible part replaces the faulty vibrator of the current part when it no longer triggers or makes an abnormal noise.
Before you start, switch the device off completely and disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables. Work on a clean, flat surface, with an anti-static mat if possible, to avoid electrostatic discharges that can damage components. Use suitable tools and avoid forcing the connectors.
Once the fitting is complete, reconnect the battery, switch the device on and test the vibrator with several notifications and a call. Also check that the ribbon cable does not rub and that the casing closes without strain. If the part shows a fault or if the battery seems swollen, stop using the device.
