The vibration motor, also called the haptic motor, is the small component that makes the phone vibrate during a call, a notification or tactile feedback. This part, compatible with the OnePlus 9 Pro, allows you to replace a faulty vibration motor when the phone no longer vibrates, vibrates weakly or makes an abnormal noise.
Manufactured by a third party, it offers an affordable alternative for a repair at home. Before fitting, switch the device off completely and disconnect the battery if your skill level allows. Work on a clean surface, away from static electricity, using an anti-static wrist strap if possible. Note the exact position of the screws and connectors to make reassembly easier.
After installation, check the function before closing the casing completely: test notifications, calls and the keyboard haptic feedback. Never puncture or bend a lithium battery, and stop using the device if the battery appears swollen. Keep heat moderate during the repair.
