Description
The vibration motor is the small motor that makes the phone vibrate during calls, notifications and certain touch actions. This part, compatible with the Pixel 10 Pro, replaces the current motor when it no longer produces any vibration, when the vibration is weak or irregular, or when it is accompanied by an abnormal noise.
Before you start, switch the device off completely and disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables. Work on a clean surface with a suitable tool to open the phone without forcing it. Note the exact position of the vibration motor and its connectors before removal, and avoid any trace of moisture or dust on the contacts.
After fitting, check the operation before closing the device completely: test the notifications, an incoming call and the haptic feedback of the keyboard. If the phone still does not vibrate or makes a noise, disconnect the battery again and check the connectors. Handle lithium batteries with care: do not puncture them, do not bend them and do not use a device whose battery is swollen.
